Hi folks,
I am learning MT and will finish the course in the month of june. Very much eager to know about the nature of work. I did MCA and worked before marriage. After a gap of 3 years I am unable and not much interested to work in software field. So jumping to MT. Heard that it is stress free and easy job, when compared to software development.

This field is not that easy or good. Read more about it here:

Please administrator she is desperate to keep herself occupied at home and, therefore, thought of doing a course in medical transcription erroneously thinking that immediately after the course she can become a home-based medical transcriber without any office-based experience. The rascal who must have enticed this person into his web could be Venu.... or HQMT. Suggest her some alternative work to do from home to meet her level of education of MCA, like web designing, etc.

Jutamaro,
Take a chill pill..
My friend did MT course and she is working from home.. She is an MCA..
And if you know some genuine home based work giving web designing company, please tell me..
Surely I will leave MT and join there..
We people are tired of getting cheated by other online jobs.. thats why shifting to MT..
Anyway thanks for your advise..

I don't think you can work right away after doing an online course. It needs at least 2 years office-based experience to sharpen the skills and then, you can work from home.
Check sites like Odesk, Freelancer, etc. where you can find jobs related to your skill.

Thanks admin. I will work for office-based experience.
Competition is more in Odesk.
Earlier I worked for some jobs at Odesk, now it is not that easy to get work there.

Bhuvana, I think working as lecturer or professor for a degree college is stress free and easy job because neither the parents nor students will complain of how you teach..not to mention long paid vacations with other benefits..

Finishing the file within the stipulated time, reaching the target line count and giving an accuracy of 99% on daily basis cannot be called stress free or easy in any term. At least there will be no deadline of 1 hour for any s/w program development as we have for stat files. There is no such thing as work postponed for the next day. Since you already have a friend who is in this field, you must be having a fair idea of how much decent salary to expect. The only good thing is with enough experience you can work from home. You reminded me of a phrase, "First comes the school..second comes the college..third comes the marriage with the baby in the carriage." All the best..!!!!
